Unlike many stud dog owners who require you to travel to them, we operate a mobile Toy Poodle stud service and travel directly to your home. This helps keep your girl relaxed in familiar surroundings and removes the stress of transporting her during such an important time.

Why We Travel To You

Timing is one of the most important factors when it comes to a successful mating.

Travelling with a bitch that is in season can be stressful for both owner and dog, particularly if the journey is long or she's never been bred before. By travelling to you, we can carry out the mating in an environment where your girl feels comfortable and secure.

Many breeders find this approach far more convenient, especially when juggling work, family commitments and the challenges of monitoring a season.

Over the years, we've helped both experienced breeders and first-time owners, and we've found that keeping things simple often leads to the best results.

Areas We Cover

Based in Retford, Nottinghamshire, we're ideally located to cover much of the Midlands and Northern England.

We regularly travel throughout Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire, helping breeders in areas such as Doncaster, Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Wakefield, Leeds, Nottingham, Lincoln and many surrounding towns and villages.

We also frequently visit Worksop, Mansfield, Newark, Chesterfield, Grantham, Gainsborough, York and Hull.

If you're located outside these areas, please don't assume we're too far away. We regularly travel beyond our usual coverage area, particularly for experienced breeders who have progesterone tested and can accurately identify the best mating window.

How Far Will We Travel?

For most matings, we're happy to travel up to around three hours from Retford.

However, this isn't a strict rule.

Breeders who have carried out progesterone testing and have a proven understanding of their girl's cycle are often able to provide much more accurate timing information. This significantly reduces the risk of a wasted journey and increases the chances of a successful mating.

For that reason, we're often willing to travel considerably further for experienced breeders where timing has been properly confirmed.

We'd much rather travel further for a well-planned breeding than make a shorter trip where the timing may be wrong.

Travel Charges

Our standard stud fee includes the first hour of travel.

For locations requiring additional travel time, we charge:

£50 for every additional 30 minutes of travel beyond the first hour included within the standard fee.

We'll always discuss travel costs in advance so you know exactly what to expect before making any commitment.

First-Time Breeders Are Welcome

Not everyone who contacts us is an experienced breeder.

In fact, many of our customers are arranging a mating for the very first time.
