Cooper Travels to Middlesbrough for a Labrador Mating
We were on the road again recently, this time travelling to Middlesbrough with Cooper, our apricot Toy Poodle stud, for a planned mating with a lovely Labrador girl.
Everything went exactly as hoped from the moment we arrived. Both dogs were relaxed, the timing was right, and the mating took place naturally without any issues.
It's always rewarding when a visit runs smoothly, particularly when both dogs settle into the process so comfortably.
A Successful First Mating
The first mating was completed successfully and exactly as nature intended.
As part of our usual approach, we'll be returning to Middlesbrough 48 hours later to carry out a second mating. This helps maximise the chances of a successful pregnancy and is something we recommend whenever timing allows.
Good preparation, accurate timing and a relaxed environment all play an important role in achieving the best possible outcome.
